KRNR - research & design

Andreas Körner, B.Sc (Hons) M.Arch
Austria - United Kingdom

I am aiming to create continuous spatial experiences and bringing back vernacular ideas to create sustainable ornament, utilising digital design tools and numeric fabrication. All this to create architectural environments, that embrace the natural environment while maintaining a strong focus on design and comfortable human inhabitation. Or so.

Together with Barry Wark and Maria Knutsson-Hall I form the academic collective Biophile which engages with ideas of biophilia in architecture.

I am currently working in London and doing my PhD in Innsbruck.
